Me Date Someone One Day

I do not have particularly impressive grammar. And I typically do not judge others based on their grammar, but wow have I gotten a few scarily bad emails from guys who think they might want to date me. Run on sentences that never end and include both a boring fact about them and a question about me. And then. Some sentences are. Not sentences. At all. I don't need a genius, but I do need functioning adult conversation skills. Too much to ask?

Mommy Dearest

For the first of many adventures in online dating...

If a guy lives in the suburbs and "is close with his parents", is he trying to tell me he lives with his parents? And on the topic of living with your parents-is that is fiscally responsible move while you save to buy your own place or a sign that your mom is actually the one checking out my profile? The latter makes me nervous.

"Okay-Cool. Give me a call when you're free."

This quote is from a text message sent to a girl who walked in front of me for four blocks with her friend. I know exactly where the punctation goes and that "he" spelled out okay because they spent all four blocks (and probably more) analyzing what it meant. For today, I am blaming crazy girls like this for making normal guys crazy and therefore not suitable for me to date. In my own analyzation, this guy is kind and considerate and does not want to interrupt whatever the girls are doing. She should probably marry him.
